Targets

The targets of the research center are mainly in the interdisciplinary limits in the interface between law and economics. Especially it analyses, with the methods of Economics, the reasons and effectivenesses of legal norms, thus effects and (maybe unrequested) contrary-effects of (legal) rules, and also consequences, which cause changes in these (legal) rules.

Object of research are legal rules and institutions in global sense. As for application of the law in narrower sense, there results a reference framework for the evaluation of the consequences of a certain interpretation (in proportion to an opposing interpretation); at the same time legal economics - corresponding to it's nature - stands in narrow factual relation to legal policy and comparative law.
